These terms apply when you book a session, purchase a course or membership, or visit Sunkissed Glow Sunbed Studio in Burnley. By making a booking or entering the studio, you accept these terms.
1. Bookings
- Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person at the studio.
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email or SMS.
- We reserve the right to refuse or amend bookings where necessary, including in the event of equipment maintenance, illness, or operational reasons.
2. Cancellations & rescheduling
- You may reschedule or cancel a booking up to 12 hours before your appointment at no charge.
- Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment, or no-shows, may be charged at the full session rate or deducted from a course balance.
- Memberships continue on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled with at least 30 days' written notice.
3. Courses & memberships
- Course bundles (e.g. 5, 10, 20 sessions) are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Course sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable once activated.
- VIP membership benefits apply only while your membership is active and in good standing.
- Suspensions of memberships (illness, holiday) may be granted at our discretion with reasonable notice.
4. Age policy
In accordance with the Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010, we do not provide UV tanning services to anyone under the age of 18. Photographic ID may be required at your first visit. Refusal to provide ID where requested will result in your session being declined without refund.
5. Health declaration & safe use
- All clients must complete a skin-type and health questionnaire before their first session.
- You must notify us of any medication, medical condition, or skin reaction that may make UV exposure inappropriate. If you are unsure, consult your GP before booking.
- Protective eyewear must be worn during every UV session — these are provided.
- We follow Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance on safe sunbed use, including session frequency and exposure limits. We may decline a session that would exceed those limits.
- Red light therapy is non-UV and has its own usage guidance — staff will brief you on first use.
6. Pricing & payment
- All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking or before the session begins.
- We reserve the right to change prices; any change will not affect bookings or courses already paid for.
7. Personal belongings
Personal belongings remain your responsibility at all times. Sunkissed Glow does not accept liability for loss or damage to items left in changing rooms or elsewhere on the premises.
8. Behaviour
We aim to provide a calm, luxurious environment for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse service to, or remove from the premises, anyone behaving in a manner that is abusive, intoxicated, or otherwise disruptive. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sunkissed Glow's liability for any claim arising from your visit is limited to the amount paid for the session, course or membership in question. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
